As it stands, the team has a preference for anonymity or pseudo-anonymity. As such, the team will submit for audits and assure kyc following the whitelist presale, but would otherwise prefer to maintain anonymity for now.

However, the team has discussed it, and the key members are in agreement that, following the success of the first round of Swole Ape NFT sales (ie selling out), those key members will fully doxx themselves prior to proceeding with the physical gym-building component of our goals.

This will be done for obvious reasons, primarily being that it would likely be hard to carry out the full scope of this project while remaining anonymous. Especially so, it would be even harder to document the gym-building process, provide updates, use the progress for social media advertising/marketing, and just well... do much of anything without their identity being fully known. So, they will preemptively be sharing their identities, social media handles, etc within reason at that time.

It may seem overly principled or even simply idealistic, but our team is of the opinion that they want the Swole Ape NFTs to succeed on their own merits, rather than that of the notoriety and clout of its members. No judgement to other projects that do primarily ride on the backs of their founders followings, but seeing as our project is based much more around a new model for gyms (although we know our profile picture art stands for itself) we want to know our community is filled with those that believe in this vision, rather than just those riding the hype or following clout. So, temporary anonymity.

But don't worry, we'll generate plenty of authentic hype and clout of our own once the ball gets rolling.
